Celebrating all things Needle Nose at the Skinny Dog Soiree (SkiDS)

August 21st to 23rd, 2026 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado

​

Join us for the Skinny Dog Soiree (SkiDS). The actual location we will be SkiDding at is TBD but everything will be located in and around Glenwood Springs, Colorado. 

 

It will be a weekend full of games, auctions and meeting new friends.

You don't have to own, or be owned by, a sighthound to come.

Our event is for everyone who enjoys sighthounds or that just wants to learn more about them.​

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Registration will Open end of April, 2026

Pre-orders for discounted raffle tickets will be announced when registration opens

*This is a Sighthound, Sighthound Mix and Iggy only event. All other canine friends need to stay home. This is for the safety of all dogs. ​

 

Here is the basic plan of events (subject to change):

Friday evening:

- Welcome 

- Social time and fun games

- Live auction

Saturday all day:

- Silent Auction 

- Nail trims

- Time for Lunch 

- Live Auction 

- Carnival games for the dogs and their humans 

• Scramble and Sprint (an egg relay) 

• Fast Frolic where our dogs can run (or not - whatever suits their fancy)

• Zoomie Zone Obstacle Course

• The Greyt Weiner Bob (bobbing for hot dogs for your hot dogs!)

- Dinner

Sunday morning:

- Sighthound Sniffari Nose Work Game to tire out your hounds just in time for the travel home 

- Live Auction

- Final goodbyes
