The Skinny Dog Soiree

Celebrating all things Needle Nose at the Skinny Dog Soiree (SkiDS)! 

​

Join us for the Skinny Dog Soiree (SkiDS) September 19-21, 2025 in Citrus Heights, California. We will be SkiDding at Rusch Community Park; Rusch West End and Rusch Lions parts of the park.

It will be a weekend full of games, auctions and meeting new friends.

You don't have to own, or be owned by, a sighthound to come.

Our event is for everyone who enjoys sighthounds or that just wants to learn more about them.​

Registration Closes: September 17th, 2025

Date to pre-order raffle tickets and nail trim tickets ends: September 17th, 2025

*This is a Sighthound, Sighthound Mix and Iggy only event. All other canine friends need to stay home. This is for the safety of all dogs. ​

Here is the basic plan of events (subject to change):

Friday from 4 to 7 pm:

- Paw Painting, Hound Tattoos and social time from 4-6 pm

- Live auction begins at 6 pm

Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm:

- Silent Auction from 9 am to 3 pm. 

- Nail trims 10 am to 12 pm

- Lunch will be served around 12:30 pm

- Live Auction starts at 4 pm

- Carnival games for the dogs and their humans from 10:30 am to 3 pm

• Scramble and Sprint (an egg relay) 

• Fast Frolic where our dogs can run (or not - whatever suits their fancy) - Begins at 11 am

• Zoomie Zone Obstacle Course

• The Greyt Weiner Bob (bobbing for hot dogs for your hot dogs!)

- Dinner (bring your own) and final payments of silent auction items between 5-6 pm

Sunday from 9 to 11 am:

- Sighthound Sniffari Nose Work Game to tire out your hounds just in time for the travel home and Social from 9-10 

- Live Auction starts at 10 am
